Cleaning and Etching the fuse sheet metal

Tonight I spent a few hours stripping the last couple of panels,  Then I cleaned and etched them.  I used the citris strip again for my kick panels (panels next to my feet when on the rudder pedals)  After about 45 min to 1 hour they were ready to be peeled up.  I then cleaned them with acetone to get the rest of the residue off.  After that I took all my panels out side and cleaned them thoroughly with Eko Clean at a 10:1 mix and then I etched each side (using Eko-etch diluted 1:1) scuffing them with a red scotch-brite pad making sure to let them sit for at least 3 minutes but not till the etch dried on them.  I rinsed them with my garden hose out side.  Then did the the other side of the panel.  These are ready for primer tomorrow.
